Good to know

  • Preheat oven to 180oC or 160oC fan assist
  • Grease two 7 inch cake tins and line with baking paper
  • Empty sponge mix into bowl and add eggs, oil and water
  • Beat mixture for 2 minutes until smooth
  • Pour mixture into tins and bake for 25-30 minutes
  • Leave to cool for a couple of minutes and turn out of tins
  • Divide mixture between 12 cupcake cases in muffin tray and bake for 18-20 minutes
  • Leave to cool fully before decorating
