  • Prepare surface by removing loose rust and flaking paint.
  • Wear a suitable face mask during dry sanding to avoid dust inhalation.
  • Special precautions are needed for pre-1960's surfaces over wood and metal that may contain harmful lead.
  • Remove grease, grime, and dirt before application.
  • Do a patch test before full application.
  • Stir well before use.
  • One coat should be sufficient for previously painted surfaces in good condition.
  • A second coat may be required on bare or rusty surfaces.
