Good to know

  • Plant seeds between October and June.
  • Soak seeds for 24 hours before sowing.
  • Coir discs in propagator base; add water; leave to absorb for 1 hour.
  • Sow seeds and cover with coir.
  • Place in warm sunny position.
  • Transplant into larger pots when large enough to handle.
  • After frost risk passes, harden off by day outside and night inside for 7 days.
  • Train plants up walls with twine.
  • Dead-head regularly to remove seed pods.
  • Store seeds in cool, dry place.
